Help Center Bookkeeping Easily Locate and Analyze Transactions Using Tyms Filters and Reports
Filtering and Searching Transactions in Tyms: When working with your sales and expense records in Tyms, being able to quickly locate specific transactions is essential. Here’s how to effectively filter and search for transactions within the system.
1. Filtering Transactions in the Sales or Expenses Modules
Within the Sales or Expenses modules, you can use the filter options to narrow down your transaction list. You can filter by:
- Date Range: Select a custom date (start and end date), or any other options ( Today, This Year, This week) to view only transactions that occurred within that specific timeframe.
- Vendor / Customer Name : Useful when you want to see all transactions linked to a specific supplier or customer.
- Accounts (from the Chart of Accounts): Filter by account type to group transactions under specific categories like utilities, salaries, revenue, etc.
- Narration/Title: Use the search bar to enter keywords or phrases from the transaction’s title or narration to find specific entries.
⚠️ Note: You cannot filter by team member names directly on the Sales or Expenses pages.
