Tyms makes it easy to track revenue, monitor customer performance, analyze top selling items, and manage outstanding payments , all from one dashboard. In this guide, you’ll learn how to generate and export sales reports on Tyms and understand what each report means.

The Sales Module on Tyms is where you manage all income generated from selling products or providing services. Sales represent revenue earned from your customers.

Under the Sales Module, you can manage, Invoices, Receipts, Recurring Invoices, and Prepaid Income.

All sales transactions recorded here automatically reflect in your Sales Reports, helping you monitor performance and cash flow in real time. To access your sales analytics:

  1. Log in to your Tyms account via app.tyms.io

  2. Navigate to Reports at the bottom of the sidebar and

  3. Click the Reports dropdown and select Sales Report

  4. Choose the specific sales report you want to view

You can:

  • Filter by date range (daily, monthly, yearly, or custom period)

  • Export reports in Excel format

Types of Sales Reports Available on Tyms

  1. Sales by Customer Report
    The Sales by Customer Report shows how much each customer contributes to your revenue.

    This report helps you identify, your most loyal customers and highest-paying customers.

    Report Fields:

    • Customer : Customer name

    • Sales Count : Number of transactions completed

    • Sales Amount : Total value of sales

    • Revenue Amount: Total revenue generated

    • Tax Amount : Total tax charged

    • Discount Amount: Total discounts applied

    • Sales Without Tax : Revenue excluding tax

    This report is ideal for customer performance analysis and revenue tracking.

  2. Sales by Item Report

    The Sales by Item Report shows which products or services generate the most revenue. It helps you analyze the best-selling products, service demand trends and Inventory and pricing performance.

    Report Fields:

    • Item Name : Product or service name

    • Quantity Sold : Total units sold

    • Amount Sold : Total revenue generated from the item

    This is useful for product performance analysis and strategic planning.

  3. Sales by Tax Report

    The Sales by Tax Report summarizes taxable sales. It helps businesses monitor, taxable revenue, total tax collected and compliance tracking.

    Report Fields:

    • Name: Tax name or taxable item

    • Percentage : Tax rate applied

    • Tax Amount: Total tax collected

  4. Sales by Team Member Report

    The Sales by Team Member Report tracks individual sales performance. It is useful for businesses with sales representatives or account managers.

    Report Fields:

    • Team Member: Name of the sales rep

    • Sales Count: Number of sales recorded
