Help Center Getting Started Forgot Your Password? Here's How to Reset It Fast

Forgetting your password is the most common reason for being unable to access your account, especially if it was recently changed, not used for a while, or simply forgotten. Fortunately, this is a solvable issue, and you won’t lose access to your account permanently.

What to Do:

  • Visit the Login Page: https://app.tyms.io/auth/login
The first step is to navigate to the  Tyms login page , where you'll find a "Forgot Password"  button.
  • Click on "Forgot Password?"
Click on this option to begin the process of resetting your password.
  • Enter Your Registered Email Address
You will be asked to provide the email address associated with your account. This step ensures that the recovery process is linked to the correct account. Make sure you enter the email address accurately.
  • Receive a One-Time Password (OTP) or Reset Link
After submitting your email address, Tyms will send you a One-Time Password (OTP) or a password reset link to the email you provided. This is an essential security measure to confirm your identity and prevent unauthorized users from gaining access to your account.

OTP: A temporary password or code sent to your email, valid for a short period (typically 5-10 minutes).
Reset Link: A unique URL that will direct you to a page where you can create a new password.

  • Check Your Email Inbox
Open the email inbox linked to your account and look for the email containing the OTP or reset link. Be sure to check your spam or junk folder.
  • Enter the OTP or Click the Reset Link
If you received an OTP, enter it on the reset page. If you received a reset link, click the link to be directed to a page where you can create a new password.
  • Create a New Password
On the reset page, you will be prompted to enter a new password. Be sure to create a strong password that you haven’t used for this account before. A good password should include a mix of upper and lower case letters, numbers, and special characters to increase security.
  • Confirm Your New Password
Re-enter your new password to confirm it. This ensures that you haven’t made any mistakes when typing it.
  • Log In with Your New Password
Once you’ve set your new password, you should be able to log in with it immediately. Be sure to remember it, or consider using a password manager to store it securely for future reference.
